2017-18 (Sophomore): Picked up an assist in season debut vs. UNH…Recorded an assist on Shane Sellar’s first goal at RPI (2.9).

2016-17 (Freshman): Appeared in 10 games and posted two assists…First collegiate assist was on John Ernsting’s goal in a 5-1 home victory vs. UNH on Dec. 10…Added another helper in a 2-1 home win vs. RPI on Feb. 10.

Before Dartmouth: Another in the long line of Toronto recruits, McLaughlin started the 2015-16 season with the Orangeville Flyers before being traded to the Burlington Cougars. Between the two Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) teams, he played in 50 regular season games and 18 playoff contests where he registered 51 points. Prior to his year as a rookie playing for the Flyers, he amassed 33 points in 46 regular season tilts. A product of the Toronto Marlboros Hockey Association, Jamie can play any of the forward positions.

Personal: Jamie is the son of Frank McLaughlin and Soraya Farha and has one brother and a sister…Jamie’s father represented Canada in the 1984, ‘88 and ‘92 Olympic Games in sailboat racing, winning a Bronze medal in the Flying Dutchman class in the ‘88 Seoul Games… His uncle (in ‘84) and grandfather (in ‘48 and ‘52) also sailed for Canada in the Olympics.
