Golfers and sports fans alike will soon have a chance to hit the fairways for a good cause. The Jefferson County Sports Hall of Fame (JCSHOF) will host its Inaugural Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, Nov. 7, at the Pine Bluff Country Club, with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start.
The event will bring together athletes, alumni, and community supporters for a morning of golf in support of youth athletic programs across Jefferson County.
JCSHOF Chairman Jeff Gross spoke with Deltaplex News about the event.
The tournament will also highlight members of the first JCSHOF induction class, honoring golfers Bubba Smart, Wes McNulty, and George McKeown.
Proceeds from the tournament will help fund the Hall of Fame’s mission of honoring local sports legends while supporting the next generation of athletes.
Gross shared more information about the Jefferson County Sports Hall of Fame.
Golfers of all skill levels are invited to participate. Registration is now open at tinyurl.com/jcshof
