Which Big 12 football teams are in the best shape to make the College Football Playoff right now?

Four teams currently have the edge: the four teams unbeaten in conference play after college football Week 6. Those teams? The BYU Cougars, Arizona State Sun Devils, Texas Tech Red Raiders and Cincinnati Bearcats, all 2-0 in Big 12 play.

BYU improved to 2-0 in Big 12 games with a 38-24 over West Virginia in Week 5, while Cincinnati moved to 2-0 with a 38-30 win over previously undefeated Iowa State. Texas Tech also moved to 2-0 in conference with a 35-11 win over previously unbeaten Houston.

Arizona State, which was off last week, has also won both of its conference games.

Here’s a look at how those games and the other college football Week 6 Big 12 games are reflected in the Week 6 US LBM Coaches Poll and AP Top 25 rankings.
