Our community deserves fact-based, reliable news and information from skilled reporters and editors.

Gerard Edic joined The Greenwood Commonwealth in July as our new reporter covering stories of public safety, including connections to gun violence, poverty, health and education systems. His news coverage helps all of us better understand our community.

Gerard’s position is partly funded by a grant from Report for America, a national nonprofit.

We are looking to our community to fund the rest of his position.

Thanks to generous supporters, we hope to reach our goal of raising $28,300 before Thanksgiving.

Your tax-deductible donation can help the Commonwealth and our community!
