The Buffalo Bills face off against the New England Patriots today in a game that could decide the AFC East. With a win, New England clinches their first division title since the 2019 season. With a loss, the Bills keep hope alive in their quest for a franchise-record sixth conseecutive AFC East crown.

With kickoff just 90 minutes away, each team has declared its inactive players for today’s pivotal contest. Buffalo did not declare anyone out before the game, but they entered the weekend with three starters carrying a “questionable” designation. New England, on the other hand, listed one player questionable and one player, running back Terrell Jennings, out for the game. Since they moved Jennings to injured reserve on Saturday, he no longer counts towards the 53-man roster and therefore will not appear on their inactive list today.

Who’s in and who’s out for today’s game? Here is the full list.

WR Gabe Davis

With Joshua Palmer ready to roll, the Bills had a choice to make at receiver. Davis is the odd man out today, as the Bills will roll with Palmer, Khalil Shakir, Brandin Cooks, Tyrell Shavers, and Keon Coleman at receiver.

T Chase Lundt

Not only is starting right tackle Spencer Brown healthy, but the Bills also have reserve Tylan Grable back on the 53-man roster, as well. Lundt’s redshirt season continues.

T Tylan Grable

Speaking of Grable, he’s a healthy scratch this week, as well. The Bills will roll with Alec Anderson and Ryan Van Demark as the reserve tackles, with Sedrick Van Pran-Granger serving as the reserve center.

DT Phidarian Mathis

Mathis is the odd man out at defensive tackle right now, as the team will go with ten defensive linemen overall. Deone Walker, T.J. Sanders, Larry Ogunjobi, DaQuan Jones, and Jordan Phillips are the defensive tackles. Joey Bosa entered without an injury designation after missing last week thanks to a hamstring injury, and the Bills called up Andre Jones Jr from the practice squad to supplement up front. They’re joined by A.J. Epenesa, Greg Rousseau, and Javon Solomon on the edge.

LB Terrel Bernard

Buffalo’s defensive captain was able to do much more in practice this week, but it’ll be at least one more game before he makes his return. Shaq Thompson will remain the starter at middle linebacker, while Matt Milano and Dorian Williams will each work in for various personnel groupings. Joe Andreessen is the only other active linebacker.

CB Christian Benford

After suffering a toe injury in practice earlier this week, Benford’s status was placed into doubt. When Dane Jackson was called up from the practice squad, it gave us a hint. Now, we know for sure that the Bills will be without their top cover corner for a huge game. Jackson will play behind Tre’Davious White and Maxwell Hairston, who are the only other boundary corners on the current roster.

S Darnell Savage

After joining the club via waivers in the middle of last week, Savage is a healthy scratch for the second straight game. Taron Johnson and Cam Lewis are the nickel corners, but rookie Jordan Hancock can play there, as well. Cole Bishop and Jordan Poyer are really the only true safeties on the roster, but both Lewis and Hancock can play there if something goes awry. Sam Franklin Jr. is technically a safety, but he’s been used exclusively on special teams.
