Sayreville opened its season with a 75-64 win over Oratory in the Friends of South Amboy Charity Games in South Amboy.

Chidi Chukwurah led the way for Sayreville with a double-double with 29 points and 10 rebounds. Sam Jones scored a team-high 33 points.

Joseph Lewis dished out eight assists to help facilitate Sayreville’s offense. Andrew Provenza chipped in five points and seven rebounds.
