MONTPELIER, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) – The Community College of Vermont is reportedly keeping their tuition flat for the next academic year.
The school is offering the lowest tuition in Vermont, at about $290 per credit for in-state students. This rate was approved for the 2027-2028 year at the Vermont State Colleges Board of Trustees meeting Monday, June 8.

CCV President Joyce Judy said in a statement that “holding tuition flat reflects our deep commitment to ensuring that all Vermonters have the opportunity to continue their education and gain the skills and knowledge they need for Vermont’s high-demand jobs.”
The college also offers other opportunities for affordable tuition, like the the 802Opportunity program, as well as various scholarships.
