The New England Patriots turned the page to the Miami Dolphins without four.

Offensive tackle Morgan Moses and edge defenders Keion White and Harold Landry III did not participate in Wednesday’s practice. Neither did cornerback Christian Gonzalez, who has been sidelined by a lingering hamstring injury since July.

“He’s continuing to improve, which is positive, and working hard. But I don’t think we’ll see him today on the practice field,” head coach Mike Vrabel told reporters of the reigning second-team All-Pro. “So again, just working hard and keep improving, staying engaged, still preparing as a starter, asking questions in the meetings and all those things. So, that’s where we’re at today.”

Here’s the first injury report leading up to Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET AFC East kickoff at Hard Rock Stadium.

DID NOT PARTICIPATE

Patriots

  • LB Harold Landry III (foot)

  • CB Christian Gonzalez (hamstring)

Dolphins

  • DT Benito Jones (oblique)

  • CB Ethan Bonner (hamstring)

The veteran Moses did not leave the right tackle spot in September’s opener before becoming a new absence on Wednesday. As for those missing across the ball, Landry posted 2.5 sacks while White rotated in for a pair of stops. What became a 20-13 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders transpired without No. 0. Gonzalez was ruled out on the final injury report ahead of the kickoff. On the heels of leading the 2024 roster with 87.4 percent of the defensive snaps, the starting corner has not participated since the first padded practice of training camp in Foxborough.

LIMITED PARTICIPATION

Patriots

  • WR Kayshon Boutte (shoulder)

  • LB Christian Elliss (shoulder)

Dolphins

  • WR Jaylen Waddle (shoulder)

Three went in a partial capacity for New England on Wednesday. Boutte, who led the offense with 103 receiving yards in his 2025 debut, had a stint in the blue medical tent after a conversion through traffic on third-and-10. The wideout is working through a shoulder issue. And on the linebacker depth chart, Elliss and Mapu are working through upper-body ailments of their own.

FULL PARTICIPATION

Patriots

Dolphins

After being claimed following the 53-man roster deadline in August, Woods was downgraded from questionable to out on the eve of Week 1 with a groin injury. But the sophomore cornerback, who projects into a core role for the Patriots on special teams, has since graduated to full participation as divisional work gets underway.
