BURLINGTON — SportsCenter is in Vermont. The ESPN broadcast is featuring the University of Vermont men’s soccer team, last year’s NCAA champions, with broadcasts during the 2 and 6 p.m. editions of Sportscenter on Friday.

The earlier broadcast coincides with the Catamounts’ exhibition match against Providence and will feature an interview with UVM coach Rob Dow. ESPN’s Skube Mageza is the host.

The stop in the Green Mountain State is part of SportsCenter’s “50 states in 50 days” feature. While the show itself is not live or open to the public, this segment offers national visibility for Vermont Soccer and its impact on the local community.
