Cloaks at the ready – the Celebrity Traitors begins this week with Claudia Winkleman welcoming a stellar line-up of celebrities into the iconic castle in this exciting spin-off
There’s just hours to go until The Celebrity Traitors finally lands on our screens – with comedians, actors, TV presenters and athletes checking into the ominous BBC castle. Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the nine-part series sees 19 celebs descend on the Scottish Highlands to take on the camp and competitive game.
After Claudia chooses the Traitors of the group, the rest of the line-up must try to hunt them down over the course of several episodes. Whoever remains in the game wins up to £100,000 for their chosen charity – and if a Traitor is still in the final group, they take all of the money.
The first famous line-up features the likes of The Thursday Murder Club’s Celia Imrie, singer Charlotte Church, GMB’s Kate Garraway, comedian Alan Carr, and historian David Olusoga among other stars.

When does The Celebrity Traitors start?
The Celebrity Traitors begins tomorrow (Wednesday 8 October) at 9pm on BBC One.
If you’re not in to catch Celebrity Traitors when it airs, you’ll be able to catch up on the first episode on BBC iPlayer or on Sunday at 9pm on BBC Three.
There will be even more castle content to dig into after the show, with Ed Gamble returning for a celebrity edition of The Traitors Uncloaked. The Celebrity Traitors Uncloaked will be available to watch at 10:15pm on BBC Two or on BBC iPlayer.
The Celebrity Traitors full TV schedule
Fans of the Celebrity Traitors will be treated to two episodes per week – with the first two airing on Wednesday and Thursday. The first four episodes have been confirmed in the TV schedules, with the others likely to follow the same pattern.
With that in mind, this is when you can expect all nine episodes to air on BBC One:

We’ll finally see the stellar cast descend on Ardross Castle – the 19th-century Scottish castle that has served as the backdrop for The Traitors since it landed on our screens in 2022.
