Oct. 27—SECTION 1, CLASS 2A

Quarterfinals

—Avery Augedahl dished out 28 assists for No. 1 Caledonia as the Warriors took down No. 9 Dover-Eyota 3-1. Aubrie Klug notched a team-high 26 digs and Ashlyn Reinhart led the Warriors with seven kills and added 10 digs.

—No. 2 Chatfield’s Trindy Barkeim and Cora Bicknese notched 19 and 18 respective kills for the Gophers in a 3-1 victory over No. 10 Zumbrota-Mazeppa. Harper Goldsmith put up 40 assists in the win. Hannah Tweten had 29 digs, surpassing 1,000 career digs with the Gophers. Addie Liffrig led Z-M with 17 assists and Charlee Morken had 18 digs.

—Emily Blumers and Camrie Macal recorded 17 and 18 kills each for No. 4-seeded Winona Cotter as the Ramblers defeated No. 5 Triton 3-1. Sydney Repinski notched 34 digs and Savy Repinski put up 43 assists for Cotter.

—Peyton Barnett put up 33 assists for No. 6 Pine Island as the Panthers upset No. 3 Red Wing 3-2. She added 17 kills, 18 digs and five aces. Her older sister, Teagan Barnett, notched a team-high 27 kills and 29 digs, and Ruby Severson added 18 kills and 18 digs in the win. Claire Hayden had 28 digs and Avery Weinberger had 26 assists for P.I.
