UMBC Retrievers (12-7, 5-1 America East) at Vermont Catamounts (13-8, 5-1 America East)

BOTTOM LINE: Vermont hosts UMBC after TJ Hurley scored 26 points in Vermont’s 62-52 win against the Bryant Bulldogs.

The Catamounts have gone 6-2 at home. Vermont has a 1-1 record in games decided by 3 points or fewer.

The Retrievers are 5-1 in conference play. UMBC ranks fifth in the America East with 31.6 rebounds per game led by Josh Odunowo averaging 5.1.

Vermont makes 46.9% of its shots from the field this season, which is 2.7 percentage points higher than UMBC has allowed to its opponents (44.2%). UMBC averages 75.7 points per game, 4.7 more than the 71.0 Vermont gives up.

Retrievers: 6-4, averaging 76.3 points, 29.9 rebounds, 12.3 assists, 4.5 steals and 2.0 blocks per game while shooting 48.1% from the field. Their opponents have averaged 70.4 points.
