Polish streamer Latwogang on YouTube has broken MrBeast’s charity fundraising record by a wide margin, becoming the largest charity livestream ever. The YouTube stream raised the equivalent of nearly $70 million for cancer-based charity organization Cancer Fighters.

Many YouTube content creators have used their platform for charitable causes, with MrBeast being among the biggest creators using his YouTube wealth for a greater purpose. MrBeast has often pushed his own philanthropic initiatives through his YouTube channel, founding Beast Philanthropy as an organization aiming to use his wide reach to help less fortunate individuals. MrBeast previously held the record for the largest charity stream, raising more than $12 million for Team Water, a charity focused on providing clean drinking water. Now, a Polish YouTuber has officially surpassed MrBeast’s charity record.

Polish Streamer Raises Nearly $70 Million for Cancer Charity

Polish streamer Latwogang set the impressive charity milestone during a nine-day charity livestream. The stream featured Latwogang listening to Polish rap song Diss na raka, performed by Bedoes 2115 and 11-year-old cancer patient Maja Mecan, for nine days straight to raise money for Cancer Fighters Foundation, which aims to help those diagnosed with cancer. The broadcast raised a grand total of 251 million Polish zloty, equating to nearly $70 million USD, setting a new record for the highest-earning charity stream. The charity livestream also included several children from Cancer Fighters joining the broadcast near its conclusion.

The amazing charity stream drew plenty of attention from around the internet, including from former record holder MrBeast. Polish esports player Wojtek Kardys mentioned the stream to MrBeast, with the philanthropic YouTube creator expressing his appreciation at other creators “using their platforms for good.” Multiple guests also shaved their heads on-stream during the broadcast in a show of solidarity with the cancer patients and their families. Latwogang cited the rap song, created as a diss track against cancer, as his major inspiration for starting the charity livestream.

The streaming industry has seen the rise of plenty of major community-wide initiatives aimed at charitable purposes. The Games Done Quick organization hosts multiple livestreams each year aimed at raising money for charity, featuring 24-hour speedruns of a variety of different video games. 2025’s Summer Games Done Quick livestream earned an impressive $2.4 million throughout the weeklong stream, with proceeds from donations during the broadcast going to Doctors Without Borders.

Latwogang’s impressive charitable contribution will leave a lasting legacy for streamers looking to follow in his footsteps. Popular VTuber Ironmouse has been a vocal proponent of charitable livestreams in the past, hosting multiple live broadcasts raising money for organizations like the Immune Deficiency Foundation. Major world events have often led to charity drives from big streamers as well, such as popular streamers like Asmongold going live to raise money for charity after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Latwogang raising more than $70 million for Cancer Fighters is likely to inspire many of his colleagues to use their platforms for a greater cause.
