Mitchell Starc starred with an extraordinary spell, taking six wickets for nine runs in 7.3 overs. Scott Boland followed up with a stunning hat-trick, becoming the first bowler to claim one in a Day-Night Test. Australia’s ruthless display ensured they remained unbeaten in the WTC cycle, comfortably holding the top spot. Meanwhile at Lord’s, England pulled off a thrilling 22-run victory over India in a match full of twists. Set 193 to win, India stumbled to 58 for 4 by stumps on Day 4 and despite a heroic 61 not out from Ravindra Jadeja, were bowled out for 170 in the final session.
