Gambling scandals have rocked the NBA and Major League Baseball, with players accused of conspiring with bettors who won large sums of money on so-called prop bets that involved specific aspects of the player’s performance.

Such bets have come under fire for their potential to corrupt athletes and sport in general, and there is widespread discussion of limiting prop bets or even eliminating them entirely. Prop bets are also seen as particularly addictive for problem gamblers, and public health advocates are also pushing for new limits.

The Globe wants to speak to people about their opinions on online sports betting, particularly prop bets, and to people who have experience with addiction to wagering on sports. Please fill out the form below to share your experience.
