TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – The Tucson Roadrunners are gearing up for a unique event that combines sports and charity. On Sunday, November 23, the team will host a “Hockey Fights Cancer” event at Tucson Arena at 4 p.m. in partnership with Arby’s Cares and Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern Arizona.

A portion of every ticket purchased through the event’s QR code will be donated to Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation. The donation will be $5 from weekend games and $10 from weekday games, supporting Southern Arizona families battling cancer.

This special event promises a day filled with excitement and community spirit, all in the name of fighting cancer.
