College football Week 14 straight-up picks

The Big Ten championship game is set.

No. 2 Indiana beat Purdue 56-3 on Friday, Nov. 28, completing its first undefeated regular season in program history and stamping its ticket to the school’s first Big Ten championship game. Heisman Trophy contender Fernando Mendoza was excellent in his final regular season outing, completing 8 of 15 passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns against the Boilermakers.

The Hoosiers will face No. 1 Ohio State, setting up a No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup for a spot as the No. 1 team in the final College Football Playoff rankings. The Buckeyes dominated archrival Michigan on Nov. 29, taking down the Wolverines XX-XX on the road.

Here’s what to know of the Big Ten championship game in 2025.

Who’s in Big Ten championship?

Indiana clinched a Big Ten championship game berth with its win over rival Purdue on Nov. 28. Under 24 hours later, Ohio State also punched its ticket.

Ohio State clinched a Big Ten championship game bid after defeating Michigan XX-XX on Nov. 29. Both the Buckeyes and Indiana went undefeated in conference play, setting up a massive conference title game.

Oregon and Michigan were still in the race, although both of their chances hinged on Ohio State losing. The Ducks and Wolverines were eliminated after the Buckeyes handled business on the road.

The Big Ten championship game will air nationally on Fox. Streaming options for the game include the Fox Sports app and Fubo, the latter of which offers a free trial to potential subscribers.
