UVM Preview

  • The Eagles took on the Catamounts twice back in November, coming away with a 2-1 win the first night and a 5-0 win the second.

  • UVM has had a good start to 2026, going 6-3-0 in January. They swept Northeastern, split a weekend with UConn, and are entering February with a sweep against Stonehill.

  • On offense, the Catamounts are led by Colin Kessler, who has 16 points in 24 games.

  • In net, Aidan Wright has a .907 save percentage in 22 starts. Wright was also named the Hockey East Rookie of the Month for January.

What to Watch For

  • Stay on track. There’s quite a big game coming up for the Eagles, but this matchup still holds meaningful weight in solidifying the Eagles’ NPI ranking and Hockey East standing for a postseason run. Besides, we’d all like them to head into Monday feeling confident and happy.

  • Mental game. Regardless of what happens against the Catamounts, the Eagles need to stay light throughout the night, and they need to play their game.
