Last year though, you finished with 10 goals and 14 assists. It seems to me like you still have more in the tank.Carles Gil:Since I got here I’ve shown how consistent I can be, practically every year. I do think that Marko is going to help me a lot. Not just me but the entire team, with little things that we can keep improving. The arrival of Coach Mitrović has helped me to return my belief in the club and in the team, and really think that we can compete again like we did years ago.Angel Salcedo:How much have you and the team enjoyed the new style of soccer Coach Mitrović has brought with him?Carles Gil:This group needed someone with very clear ideas like Marko who can give us the tools on the pitch for us to succeed, and to be a team that is recognizable, right? With the ball and without the ball. Later everything will come out for better or for worse, because you’re playing against other teams who also have their own ideas, but at least we’ll be a team that is recognizable on the pitch. One that competes and wins matches. I’m super excited for what’s to come this year!
