QC Lady Blues hosting fundraising games for team, Stead Family Children’s Hospital

QC Lady Blues hosting fundraising games for team, Stead Family Children’s Hospital

The Quad City Lady Blues are playing two home games that will benefit the Stead Family Children’s Hospital at the University of Iowa.

The team will play two home games on Saturday, January 10 at the River’s Edge, 700 W. River Drive in Davenport. The Lady Blues take on the Darien, Ill. Chicago Hawks at 10:15 a.m. and play the Afton, MO Lady Liberty at 2 p.m. The games are open to the public and parking and admission are free. Concessions will be available.

The Lady Blues will also host a fundraiser for the team and the University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children’s Hospital throughout the morning and early afternoon. The Stead Family Children’s Hospital is Iowa’s only comprehensive children’s hospital and provides world-class pediatric care. Several fundraising activities are planned, including a silent auction, 50/50 drawing, bake sale and basket raffle. Donations are welcome.
