Young athletes learn from the pros at Sixers 'Sports with Us' clinic

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) — Young athletes had the chance to shoot hoops with the pros on Tuesday in Camden, New Jersey.

50 students from KIPP Philadelphia Preparatory Academy took part in a sports clinic hosted by the Philadelphia 76ers.

The kids played at the team’s training complex. Students received training on basketball skills, as well as life lessons in confidence and financial health.

Formers Sixers players Marc Jackson and World B. Free helped teach the students.

The event was part of Bank of America’s ‘Sports with Us’ clinic series. The company partners with athletic programs across the country.
