NFL coach Vrabel speaks to PHS class | News, Sports, Jobs

Parkersburg High School sophomore Nick Romine speaks to New England Patriots’ Head Coach Mike Vrabel Thursday during the Sports in American Culture class. Vrabel spoke to 70 students for 45 minutes about his time as a player and coach. This is the 4th interview for the class and they have spoken with Karch Kiraly, Olympic volleyball player and coach, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Olympic heptathlete and Bonnie Blair Cruikshank, Olympic speedskater. The class is planning on two to three more interviews this year with a “random” NFL player scheduled to speak to students on April 14.
