Peak Moments from Day 13 of Olympics

USAT’s Sam Cardona-Norberg break down the EPIC night that Team USA’s women had on the ice on Day 13 of Milano-Cortina Olympics.

Sports Seriously

  • The Stars on Ice tour will begin its U.S. leg in Estero, Florida, on April 16.
  • The tour features several gold medalists from the recent Milano Cortina Olympics.
  • Featured skaters include Alysa Liu, Madison Chock, Evan Bates, and Ilia Malinin.

Southwest Florida has first dibs on the best skaters in the United States.

Fresh off gold-medal performances at the Milano Cortina Olympics in February, many of those who captivated millions of Americans will be taking to the ice at Hertz Arena on Thursday, April 16, kicking off the U.S. leg of the Stars on Ice tour, which will visit 28 cities until May 31.

Here are some of the skaters who will be in Estero.

The full list can be found at starsonice.com.

Tickets to the show can be purchased on Stubhub.

Alysa Liu

The headliner of the Stars on Ice tour is the face of U.S. figure skating. Liu is fresh off a double gold medal performance in Milan, winning the free skate segment as well as the team event, where she placed second in the short program. The No. 1 skater in the International Skating Union rankings is currently enrolled at UCLA and has 8.2 million followers on Instagram.

Madison Chock and Evan Bates

Chock and Bates are two-time Olympic Gold Medalists, seven-time U.S. Champions, and three-time World Champions since they started skating together in 2011. The newly married U.S. ice dancers have been representing Team USA on an Olympic stage since the 2014 Olympics in Sochi and won individual silver and team gold at Milano Cortina 2026.

Ilia Malinin

Nicknamed the “Quad God” for his ability to do a backflip on the ice in his routine, Malinin is a three-time world champion, a four-time U.S. Champion, and helped secure a gold medal in the team competition in Milan for Team USA. After mistakes ultimately denied him the chance of going double gold in February, he responded with a first-place finish in Prague at the ISU Championships two weeks ago.

Amber Glenn

The native Texan has risen up the ranks in the figure skating world, clinching three straight U.S. titles along with a gold at the 2024-25 Grand Prix in Grenoble, France. Glenn was alongside Liu, Chock, Bates, and others in Milan to take home a gold medal in the team event.

Ellie Kam and Danny O’Shea

Kam and O’Shea placed ninth in the pair skating competition at the Milano Cortina Olympics, but helped secure a gold medal for Team USA in team skating. Team KamO placed second at the U.S. Championships this year, along with a seventh-place finish in Worlds in 2025. The pair has been skating since 2022.

Isabeau Levito

Levito’s the youngest skater on this tour at 19 and finished 12th in Milan, her first Olympic appearance. She was a second-place finisher at Worlds in Montreal in 2024 and a bronze medalist at the U.S. Championships in St. Louis in January.

Tickets for Stars on Ice in Estero

Tickets are still available for the show on Thursday, April 16 at Hertz Arena starting at 7 p.m. Click HERE for a link to StubHub to purchase.
