For a third-straight year, UAlbany men’s lacrosse are the kings of the America East. No. 1 UAlbany defeated two-seeded Vermont, 14-11 on Saturday at Casey Stadium.

Ryan Doherty, with five goals in the title game, was named the America East Tournament Most Outstanding Player. Senior Silas Richmond added four goals himself.

Saturday’s victory marks Scott Marr’s 12th conference title as head coach of UAlbany.
