New England Patriots left tackle Will Campbell is focused on honing his game for next season.

According to the Boston Herald’s Doug Kyed, Campbell views himself as a work in progress after experiencing his share of highs and lows in 2025.

“I’m 22. I’m a long way from where I’m going to be in the future,” Campbell said.

The Patriots selected Campbell with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The LSU product started in all 13 games that he played in last season for New England.

Campbell allowed five sacks to quarterback Drake Maye in the regular season and allowed 14 total pressures in the Super Bowl. He played well in the early portion of the season before injuries took their toll down the stretch of the year, spilling over into the postseason.

The 22-year-old came under fire for his play during that stretch, but he received a vote of confidence from Patriots coach Mike Vrabel. He is positioned to start at left tackle once again in 2026 and improve in the critical areas of his game that need refinement.
