LA28 is providing fans worldwide another chance to secure tickets to the 2028 Olympic Games
LA28 announced on Wednesday that a second drop for public Olympic tickets will be held from Aug. 10 to 20.
Fans can register for Drop 2 through July 22, 2026, at tickets.LA28.org. Those randomly selected in the LA28 Olympic Ticket Draw will be assigned a time slot during the drop to purchase tickets. Tickets are available across all Olympic sports for fans who were not selected during Drop 1 or were not able to register in time.
Fans are able to select a maximum of 12 total tickets for Olympic events and up to 12 additional soccer tournament tickets, but there is a four-ticket-per-ceremony limit.
According to LA28, fans from 85 countries and all 50 U.S. states and territories claimed over 4 million tickets during the initial release. Of those fans, Los Angeles and Oklahoma City locals claimed nearly 75% of the tickets in April.
Drop 1 included about 500,000 tickets priced at $28, and 95% of available tickets were under $100 in an effort to make the home Games accessible to the communities hosting. This launch was the first of its kind to ensure locals had first pick of the most affordable seats.
“These Games belong to Los Angeles and to the world, and we look forward to welcoming fans everywhere to be part of all the incredible moments to come in 2028,” Reynold Hoover, LA28 Chief Executive Officer, said. “The response from millions of fans makes one thing clear: the world is ready, and so are we.”
In addition to Drop 2, fans are also able to purchase through Visa Presale Ticket Draw for qualifying Visa cardholders. This presale registration window closes on July 22, and cardholders may receive a time slot from July 29-31.
