The show returns on Tuesday evenings beginning Sept. 1 with WVU Olympic Sports fall season coaches appearing weekly from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Mountain State Brewing Company’s location on Monongahela Boulevard. The live, 60-minute show will again be hosted by Andrew Caridi and allow fans to interact each week with the featured coach and learn about each team.
“We have six shows scheduled this fall to start our third season,” WVU Deputy Athletics Director for External Affairs Matt Wells said. “The show brings our coaches out in the community so fans can interact and hear first-hand from them about their teams and upcoming schedule. It has become a great way to stay connected with our teams, athletes and coaches and continues to grow in popularity each year.”
The fall season lineup gets started with women’s soccer coach Nikki Izzo Brown. Other coaches slated to appear are men’s soccer coach Dan Stratford, volleyball coach Jen Greeny, tennis coach Miha Lisac, cross country’s Sean Cleary and Sean Covich from golf.
For those not in attendance, the one-hour show will be archived and available the following day on several listening options such as the Varsity Network App, the Apple Podcast Stream, and the WVUSports.com audio on demand feature located on the school’s official athletic website.
