Vermont high school soccer state championships wrapped up this past weekend in Burlington and in Rutland, marking the end to another year of soccer in the state.

The Vermont Soccer Coaches’ Association recently released their all-state teams for each of the state’s four divisions.

D-I GIRLS

The CVU girls soccer team earned its 21st state championship in program history and second in a row with its 5-2 win against Colchester and it has a handful of representatives on the Division I girls all-state team.

BFA-St. Albans: Isabelle Montagne, senior forward/midfielder.

Brattleboro: Reese Croutworst, senior forward.

BBA: Mia Sena, senior midfielder.

Burlington: Remy Duke, senior midfielder; Eva Schwartz, sophomore midfielder.

CVU: Sierra Rainey, junior defender; Elsa Klein, junior midfielder; Reese Kingsbury, senior midfielder; Elianna Antonucci, sophomore defender; Charlotte Clark, sophomore forward.

Colchester: Brinlee Gilfillian, senior forward; Elsie MacAuley, senior midfielder.

Essex: Hazel Fry, senior midfielder; Koa Plante, senior defender.

MAU: Ella Palisano, senior defender.

Mt. Mansfield: Chloe Delong, senior midfielder; Sophia Randall, senior midfielder.

No. Country: Gabrielle Griffith, senior defender/midfielder; Annabella Aiken, senior defender; Randi Fortin, senior goalkeeper.

Rutland: Phoenix Woodard, sophomore forward.

St. Johnsbury: Avery Gelwicks, senior forward.

So. Burlington: Julia Conway, junior midfielder/defender; Reese Gordon, senior midfielder.

Spaulding: Sophie Guarriello, senior forward; Mia Dolan senior forward.

D-II GIRLS

The Rice girls soccer team took home its first state title since 2022, beating Harwood 2-1 in the state championship game last Friday in Burlington and had four players make the all-state squad.

Hartford: Harper Traendly, senior forward; Michaela Anderson, senior midfielder.

Harwood: Adelaide Sullivan, junior defender; Stella Mayone, junior midfielder; Roanha Chalmers, senior midfielder; Abby Olney, senior midfielder; Tara Nagle, sophomore goalkeeper.

Lake Region: Isabella Hanover, senior defender.

Lamoille: Ila Rankin, senior forward.

Milton: Lily Daunais, junior goalkeeper; Savannah Monaghan, senior forward; Marlie Bushey, senior defender.

Montpelier: Camille Edgar, senior forward.

Otter Valley: Tegan Boynton, sophomore forward; Allie Charbonneau, junior midfielder.

Rice: Esme Cyr, sophomore midfielder; Izzy Lacy, senior defender; Reese Billings, senior forward; Peyton Borick, senior goalkeeper.

U-32: Paige Parker, senior defender; Sylvia Emmons, senior forward; Morgan Towne, senior forward/midfielder; Lydia Trombly, senior defender.

D-III GIRLS

The Vergennes girls soccer team captured its fourth state championship in program history and first since 2006 with its 2-0 win against Peoples Academy on Saturday. The Commodores had two girls make the all-state team.

Enosburg: Kailie Morrill.

Fair Haven: Leigha Kretzer, freshman; Audrey Perry, junior.

Hazen: Isabelle Gouin, senior. Taylor Thompson.

Oxbow: Natalee Spear, senior; Ainsley Smith, senior.

Paine Mountain: Hannah Spencer, senior.

Peoples Academy: Ella Bliss, senior.

Stowe: Emilia Marron, senior; Vivi Hermsdorf; Ava Buczek, senior; Tanner Gregory, senior goalkeeper.

Vergennes: Ava Francis, senior; Ashton Stearns, senior.

Windsor: Kenzie Wescott, senior; Avery Ducharme, senior; Addison Crane, freshman; Gabby Crane, senior; Cassie Clark, senior.

Woodstock: Sierra Bystrak, senior; Bonnie Krantz, senior.

White River Valley: Cassie Armstrong, senior; Sarah Rule, senior.

D-IV GIRLS

The Poultney girls soccer team earned its first state championship in program history with a 1-0 win against Winooski on Saturday and had two girls on the all-state team.

Arlington: Avrie Aldrich, senior midfielder; Mia Aldrich, sophomore midfielder.

Blue Mountain: Kennedy Perrigo, senior midfielder.

Caledonia United: Eliska Siebenbrunner, junior forward.

Leland & Gray: Addison Eldridge, freshman striker.

Long Trail: Nevada Bloechle, freshman forward.

MSJ: Riley Collins, senior striker; Jada Hughes, senior striker; Abby Williams, senior sweeper.

Poultney: Eme Silverman, senior striker; Mazie Pavlakis, junior striker.

Proctor: Ainsley Carr, freshman defender; Emma Palmer, senior midfielder.

Richford: Adison Chagnon, sophomore midfielder/defender.

Twin Valley: Alejandra Bevilacqua, senior defender.

West Rutland: Hayley Raiche, senior forward; Emma Haley, sophomore forward; Myra Rocke, senior midfielder/defender; Izzy Griffith, senior midfielder.

Winooski: Ketila Selemani, junior forward; Bora Kashindi, junior defender; Eliza Willis, senior midfielder.

D-I BOYS

The Burr and Burton boys soccer team won its first Division I title and 10th state title overall by beating CVU 1-0 over the weekend. The Bulldogs had three guys make the all-state team.

BFA-St. Albans: Dan Martel, junior.

Brattleboro: Eason DeMarsico, senior midfielder.

BBA: Rhys Jones, junior midfielder; Bodie Smith, senior forward; Alex Kopeck, senior defender.

Burlington: Sam Wick, senior midfielder; Faraja Diedonne, senior defender.

CVU: William Wallace, senior midfielder; Sebastian Bronk, senior midfielder; Henry Galloway, senior defender.

Colchester: Javen Welch, junior forward.

Essex: Ethan Pringle-Corcoran, senior midfielder; Ethan Leo, junior forward; Eagan Murray, senior midfielder.

MAU: Bonheur Nshizirungo, senior forward.

Mt. Mansfield: Otis Lee, senior midfielder; Levi Causey, senior goalkeeper’ Max Clegg, junior midfielder.

No. Country: Liam Wood, sophomore defender; Joe Giroux, junior forward.

Rutland: Ciaran Wiezalis, senior midfielder.

St. Johnsbury: Zach Wood, senior midfielder. Luc Oliver, senior forward.

So. Burlington: Connor Maxwell, senior forward; Ian Henderson, junior midfielder; Parker Dailey, senior defender.

D-II BOYS

The Milton boys soccer team captured its seventh state championship in program history. beating top-seeded Mount Abraham 1-0 over the weekend. A pair of Milton players made the all-state team.

Hartford: Jackson Jewett, sophomore midfielder; Colin Morlock, junior midfielder; Jackson Hessler, junior defender.

Harwood: Brycen Scharf, senior forward; Oliver Reilly, junior midfielder; Felix Kretz, senior forward; Cole Shullenberger, senior midfielder.

Lamoille: Ethan Rossi, senior midfielder.

Milton: Andrew Pruess, senior midfielder; Killian Choquette, sophomore forward.

Montpelier: William Curtis, senior midfielder; Colby Sterling-Proulx, senior defender; Michael Vitti, sophomore midfielder.

Mt. Abraham: Evan Audy, senior goalkeeper; James Graziadei, senior midfielder; Zealand Jackson, senior defender; Maverick Livingston, senior midfielder; Waydon Cherington, sophomore forward.

Rice: Chais Lyford, senior defender; Ricky Carroll, sophomore.

Springfield: Mateo Fuentes, junior midfielder.

Stratton Mountain: Pepe Bertran, junior midfielder; Trevor Phaneuf, senior forward; Jack Gerew, senior midfielder.

U-32: Aiden Huston, senior midfielder; Braden O’Donnell, junior midfielder.

D-III BOYS

The Winooski boys soccer team earned the Division III championship by topping Peoples Academy in penalty kicks on Saturday. It was the Spartans’ fourth straight year winning a state title, with the first three coming in Division IV.

BFA-Fairfax: Tristan Metruk, senior midfielder/forward.

Enosburg: Bennie Wolfe, senior midfielder/defender; Blake Teague, junior midfielder/forward; Gavin West, senior midfielder; Sawyer Bentley, junior forward.

Fair Haven: Luca Carrabino, junior defender; Max Carrabino, junior goalkeeper.

Hazen: Grayson McNaughton, senior goalkeeper.

Paine Mountain: Zeke Anderson, junior midfielder.

Peoples Academy: Ian Nolan, senior; Jack Cleary, junior; Jaden Baird, junior; Myles Lane, junior.

Randolph: George Rosalba, senior; Zane Cooper, senior goalkeeper.

Stowe: Graeme Jostrand, junior.

Thetford Academy: Henry Trage, senior.

Vergennes: Aiden Fuller, senior midfielder; Ryker Mosehauer, senior midfielder’ Tiegen Buskey, senior forward.

Winooski: Stefan Stefano, senior.

Woodstock: Luke Hecker, junior.

White River Valley: Jack Hughes, junior midfielder/forward; Keran Tiumacki, senior midfielder/forward.

D-IV BOYS

The Twin Valley boys soccer team finished its season undefeated, topping Caledonia United for its sixth state championship in program history. The Wildcats had four guys make the all-state squad.

Arlington: Sean Wehrman, junior midfielder; Leo Robinson, junior defender; Ethan Pickering, senior midfielder.

Caledonia United: Eli Russell, senior midfielder; Sam McLane, senior forward; Josh Peterson, senior goalkeeper.

Grace Christian: Colden Powers, senior midfielder.

Leland & Gray: Spencer Claussen, junior midfielder; Ethan Clark; junior midfielder.

Long Trail: Andres Copelli.

Mill River: Isaac Smith, freshman midfielder.

MSJ: Logan Hauke, junior.

Proctor: Aaron Brock, junior goalkeeper; Braden Sheehe, junior striker; Kaden Dean, senior defender.

Rivendell Academy: Toby Sonsalla

Sharon Academy: Tyler Jones, midfielder.

Twin Valley: Carson McHale, senior striker; Chris Eckert, senior defender; Brayden Brown, junior midfielder; Alex Sullivan, sophomore midfielder.

West Rutland: Peter Guay, junior midfielder; Brayden Schutt, senior midfielder/striker.
