Vermont has one of the best small college towns in the country, according to a recent ranking from USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards.
The annual 10BEST awards highlight the best in travel, food and lifestyle, and winners are chosen by a public voting poll after being nominated by industry experts. In the best small town awards, ranking coastal, historic and regional small towns across the country, the town of Burlington ranked tenth in the best small college town category.

Home of both the University of Vermont (UVM) and Champlain College, Burlington is praised by USA TODAY for its combination of “lakefront charm meets creative energy.”
